The Psyche hat is made with thinly braided wheat straw, stiffened for this strong yet light structure. The fullness of the flowers are achieved through layers of white and warm-silver bamboo silk that cascade across the brim and crown. 

Each petal and flower is embroidered with glass, gold & seashell beads. Trimmed with a wide white petersham, folded into a pattern around the crown and finished with a large bow.

The Psyche hat is created using traditional hand-blocking and flower-making techniques.

This piece will be handcrafted in my London studio using the finest locally-sourced materials. 

It is made-to-order so will take around 2-3 weeks to finish.

Other colours, alterations and fabric preferences can be fulfilled upon request.
